March, 2020

Marie-Ann finished her work about copper complexes with multidentate lingands. Two articles in Inorganic Chemistry and Chemistry - A European Journal are now online. Very good work!

Februar, 2020

We joint the 714th Hereaus Seminar in Bad Honnef with the title: Resolving the Full Picture: Complementary Spectroscopic Approaches to Explore Dynamics in Physical and Chemical Systems. Afterwards we visited the 16. Koordinationstreffen in Freiburg.

Februar, 2020

Steffi received the Mileva Marić-Einstein award of the Ulm University. Infos here.

November, 2019

Robin's continued his work about novel Cu(I) photosensitizers containing P^N ligands. The article is now online. Great job.

September, 2019

Together with the Rau group (Uni Ulm) we investigated a ruthenium complex based on a dipyridophenazine ligand having two emissive long-lived excited states. Read here.

March, 2019

We had the opportunity to present results of our group at the 15. Koordinationschemietreffen (KCT) in Munich and at the 21st JCF Frühjahrssymposium in Bremen.

Welcome to the Tschierlei Research Group

We are part of the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry I at the Ulm University. Our interest lies in the fundamental understanding and comprehensive characterization of photoinduced processes as well as the dynamics of excited states of different metal complexes. Furthermore, the investigation of photosensitizers and photocatalysts regarding their application in the field of solar energy conversion represents a key issue.
