In collaboration with colleagues from the TU Kaiserslautern and Uni Rostock we analyzed the excited state dynamics of Cu(I) and Ru(II) complexes containing a ligand with an extended pi-system. Read more in our article in Inorg. Chem. Great job by Martin, Miguel and Pit.

Welcome to the Tschierlei Research Group

We are part of the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry at the Technische Universität Braunschweig. Our interest lies in the fundamental understanding and comprehensive characterization of photoinduced processes as well as the dynamics of excited states of different metal complexes. Furthermore, the investigation of photosensitizers and photocatalysts regarding their application in the field of solar energy conversion represents a key issue.
